Summary:
As a Processing Supervisor, you would be responsible for efficient operations within our egg processing plant by supervising staff and organizing/monitoring daily workflow.
Essential Duties:
Lead a team of employees that routinely meet or exceed performance goals.
Responsible for the organization of daily plant operations.
Fulfilling all customer orders efficiently with the highest quality eggs.
Accurately recording egg and packaging inventories.
Ensuring compliance with USDA and Food Safety requirements for all product and personnel.
Completing all required documentation, paperwork, and record keeping.
Ensuring that all safety guidelines are being followed.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in food science, or closely related discipline from an accredited 4 year college or university or equivalent work experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Competent in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Outlook, Excel) Ability to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.
Ability to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold environments, walking, standing and sitting for long periods of time.
Previous HACCP/SQF experience preferred.
Technical knowledge of Biosecurity and Food Safety Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (i.
e.
, USDA) Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
